We did it, we bashed them, wee Potter's the one, And Voldy's gone moldy, so now lets have some fun!

It is only a couple months after Harry had defeated Voldemort. Everything is slowly shrugging off burdens and people are starting to realize that they came finally give a true sigh of relief.

"Avada Kadvara!"

"Expelliarmus!"

The bang was like a cannon blast, and the golden flames that erupted between them, at the dead center of the circle they had been treading, marked the point where the spells had collided. Harry saw Voldemort's green jet meet his own spell, saw he Elder Wand fly high, dark against the sunrise, spinning across the enchanted ceiling like the head of Nagini, spinning through the air towards the master it would not kill, who had come to take full possession of it at last.

And Harry, with the unerring skill of a Seeker, caught the wand with his free hand as Voldemort fell backward, arms splayed, the lit pupils of his scarlet eyes rolling upward. Tom Riddle hit the floor with a mundane finality, his body feeble and shrunken, the white hands empty, the snakelike face vacant and unknowing. Voldemort was dead, killed by his own rebounding curse, and Harry stood with two wans in his hand, staring down at his enemy's shell.

Since then, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are back at Hogwarts to finish their final year at Hogwarts, without the interruption of the once Dark Lord. They can carry on with only the memories, but know that the future they have ahead of them won't hold that of voldemort.

While the golden trio go back to finish at Hogwarts, Death Eaters are a thing of the past. Those who hadn't died in the final battle, or hadn't gone to Azkaban, still roaming the wizarding world under the Careful eye of Aurthur Weasley. Lucius Malfoy for one has mamaged to squeeze his out of problem and yet retain a name for himself in the Wizarding world.

While those in Azkaban had nothing to do but wait until death overtakes them, those who are free must find their place in a world that is now different than the one they had been living in before the fall of their Dark Lord.

come join us as the golden trio share their last year at Hogwarts together, while the once dark try to find their place in the world, and see how the last year will unfold without out the dark cloud of tom riddle hanging over their heads. Shadows of the Past
